Southside Virginia Emergency Crew, also known as SVEC, is a combination career and volunteer Emergency Medical Services (EMS) organization located in the historic city of Petersburg, Virginia. As the primary EMS agency for the city, we provide emergency medical care, rescue, and public assistance services to the sick, injured, and those in medical need. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
